Resør Electronics 2525FX Rotary Mixer Review

“German company Resør Electronics build limited numbers of high-end rotary mixers, to order, in their Berlin studio. Designed around custom discrete circuits, their mixers promise to deliver audiophile levels of sound quality to DJs who are prepared to wait a few months to receive them. On the latest episode of Beatsource Tech, Mojaxx reviews their newest model, the 2525FX, and finds out if the sound is worth being patient for.”

Bonedo made a 5-Star review

“The Resør 2533 FX rotary DJ mixer plays in the top league of rotary mixers in terms of sound and manufacturing technology. The elegant aesthetics and sensitive feel are just as much a part of the purchase price as the feeling of owning a particularly exclusive piece of audio technology. Thanks to the many optional tuning options, discerning DJs can have a very personal and unique rotary mixer made by hand.”

“DJs & Hi-Fi” Group on Facebook

“The mixer arrived in a touring grade case that is included in the price of the mixer. First bonus point. It is possible to order the mixer in oak or black oak with a silver or black anodized face-plate. Another personal bonus point is the classic knobs with the notch. Never been a fan of the Moog style knobs a lot of other mixers use. The fit, finish, and feel is excellent. The external power supply is a big plus as well. Really just nothing more to say…”

Bonedo.de made a 4.5/5 Star Review

“Current rotary mixers from small, noble boutique manufacturers like to present themselves in a noble ambience with old-school VU meters and wooden frames. This is exactly where Resor Electronics comes in with the Darth mixer. Built with the finest components in Class A technology, it promises the highest level of acoustic and visual pleasure. However, there are no concessions to the technical feature overload of current club mixers.”

Please note that the review was made with our prototype rotary mixer model “Darth”, which is now succeeded by “Model 2500”.
