General Terms and Conditions
1. Scope & Contractual Partner These terms and conditions apply to all business relations between resør electronics (hereinafter: "we") and the customer. By placing an order, the customer agrees to these terms.
2. Choice of Law and Jurisdiction

Governing Law: All contracts shall be governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).

Place of Jurisdiction: If the customer is a merchant or has no general place of jurisdiction in Germany or the EU, the exclusive place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from this contract is Berlin, Germany.
3. Custom-Built Products & Cancellation

Custom Mixers: Please note that our custom-built or bespoke products are manufactured to your specific specifications. According to § 312g para. 2 No. 1 BGB (German Civil Code), the right of withdrawal (cooling-off period) does not apply to these personalised items. All sales of custom products are final.

Stock Items: For non-customised stock items, a 14-day cooling-off period applies starting from the day of receipt.
4. Warranty and Manufacturer’s Guarantee

Legal Warranty: Customers are entitled to the statutory warranty rights for 2 years.

3-Year Guarantee: In addition to your legal rights, we provide a voluntary 3-year repair guarantee from the date of shipment. This guarantee covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.

Exclusions: Excluded from the guarantee and warranty are defects caused by:

Improper connection or operation.

Mechanical damage or force majeure (e.g., lightning, contamination).

Wear and tear due to excessive loading of mechanical parts.

Unauthorized repair attempts by the customer or third parties.

5. Limitation of Liability

We are liable without limitation for damages resulting from injury to life, limb, or health caused by a breach of duty by us.

For other damages, our liability is limited to intent and gross negligence.

In the event of a slight negligent breach of essential contractual obligations (cardinal obligations), our liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for the contract.

Liability under the German Product Liability Act (Produkthaftungsgesetz) remains unaffected.
6. Shipping and Customs

Shipments are insured. The customer is obliged to inspect the package upon receipt. Visible damage must be reported to the carrier immediately.

For international shipments (especially USA), the customer is the importer of record and responsible for all local customs duties, taxes, and clearance procedures. Delays or costs caused by local customs authorities are outside our responsibility.
7. Retention of Title The delivered goods remain our property until full payment of the purchase price has been made.
