A clearer way to order your resør mixer

We’ve changed how ordering works in our online shop. When you open a mixer’s product page, you now choose one of two options at the top: Made to Order or In Stock.

Both are visible side by side. Select In Stock and you’ll see how many finished mixers are available and how long the wait is.

Made to Order
This is the way we’ve always worked. You pick every detail: faceplate colour, wood, knobs, VU meters, and whether you want the FX version. We build the mixer by hand in Berlin once your order comes in. Production takes 7–8 months.

Because every unit is built for a specific person, you get exactly the mixer you want, and we don’t produce stock that sits on a shelf. If the details matter to you, this is worth the wait.

In Stock
These are finished mixers we’ve already built, in configurations we’ve chosen. They reach you within 4–5 weeks, including final testing and preparation. Some small changes are still possible: you can swap the knobs or add a travel case before we ship.

In Stock mixers cost 10% more than the same configuration made to order. That’s because we build them ahead of time, without a buyer: we pay for the parts and labour up front and hold the finished units until someone orders them. The extra 10% covers that, and it’s what lets you skip the 7–8 month wait.

It’s the right choice if you need a mixer soon-ish, or if one of the available configurations already suits you.

Why we made this change
We noticed people didn’t realise we had finished mixers sitting in the workshop. Most orders went into the same production queue, even when a ready unit would have suited them fine. Now you see both options up front, you know the timeline before you commit, and you don’t have to wait 7–8 months if you don’t need to.
